Born in Maryland to an Indian mother and an Indian father, grew up in California, a brief detour to the  Midwest and now settled in Denver.  Mother to the cliched “two greatest children in the world.” (Except in my case it’s true.)  Overuser of parentheses, and a properly placed semicolon makes me swoon.  Handy with two sticks and yarn, but have yet to completely embrace any finished project. Put stuff in the ground and eat it a few months later. Read lots of books and love sappy rom coms and those movies where black people and white people learn to get along at the end of the movie. Even better when combined into the same movie. Happy when I’m en route to somewhere else.
